Charlottetown Airport Planning Emergency Excercise
Charlottetown residents are being advised that the Charlottetown
The exercise will be the fourth held by the Charlottetown Airport Authority to test the preparedness of the Airport Authority and will involve the 911 emergency service, fire departments, police, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and other emergency response agencies.
Residents are being asked not to follow emergency vehicles to the airport or to phone 911 when they hear sirens or see emergency vehicles responding to the Airport as this will be an exercise only.
The last full-scale airport exercise was conducted in October of 2009.
