Arrive Early for Early Morning Flights

As the summer travel season comes to an end, the Charlottetown Airport Authority is reminding passengers to arrive early this week for early morning departures.

Both Air Canada and WestJet have 45-minute cut-off times for domestic flights so passengers are recommended to arrive well before this cut-off time to allow for extra time for check-in and security screening.

Airlines suggest to arrive 90 minutes prior to a scheduled departure at all Canadian Airports. This is especially important for travellers departing from Charlottetown on early morning flights for this busy week of air travel.

With more seat capacity than ever before, there is the potential for over 375 passengers to be going through security for flights between 600-645AM on a daily basis this week.
