Travel Stories aim to inspire Islanders to see the world
Charlottetown Airport Authority has unveiled a new marketing campaign featuring Islanders who are travelling to interesting destinations around the world. This new campaign launched today on the Airport website (www.flypei.com) will be featured in local newspapers and radio advertising in the coming months.Each image highlights Islanders and their unique story about why they love to travel.
Islanders have shared their personal travel stories and highlighted their most memorable experiences. Evan Ceretti, a travel blogger featured in the campaign, has spent the last year travelling across Eastern Europe and Asia. Evan noted, "I am honoured to be part of this local marketing campaign. I love to travel, and I hope that my journey and story will inspire others to explore the world.”
Many Islanders travel to unique places and have interesting stories to tell about their adventures, noted Doug Newson, CEO of Charlottetown Airport Authority. "We thought sharing their stories would make a vibrant marketing campaign and we hope it will inspire others to travel from PEI.”
Islander’s Travel Stories featured include; Evan Ceretti in India, Paper Lions in Australia, Heather MacAulay in New York City, and Peter Williams and Caron Prins in Thailand.To read their stories visit www.flypei.com/travelstories.
