WestJet to Increase Capacity in CharlottetownWestJet is increasing the size of the plane on its second daily route this summer between Toronto and Charlottetown. The overnight flight will be a 737-800 which has 174 seats.
"This is good news for Charlottetown," stated Doug Newson. "WestJet had one of their best year's in Charlottetown in 2013 and we have been working with all of our airline partners to increase capacity for this year to support PEI 2014 tourism activities."
"There is a lot of optimism that 2014 will be a banner year for travel to PEI and we are pleased to see airlines working with us to grow the market," added Newson.
